New toy named Dai Bao

It's my 2nd new toy after Mochi (digi buchineko)! I secretly used my dad's card to buy this time >.< I'm seriously broke and I'm looking for a new role at the moment. I've already transfered all my RM savings to POUNDS and I seriously got no RM when I go back home this time. Perhaps, only can go mamak stall to have a cup of teh tarik and roti telur bawang. hahaah!

Well, any part-time jobs for me? =D I'll be back for a month. teehee~

The limited edition white Fuji Cheki Instax Mini 7s arrived at my doorsteps a couple of week ago. I ordered it all the way from Japan in Ebay cost me about £76 with 50 films. Man, the films are expensive! RM3.5/per film =( It's like printing money from the camera. ROFL! So, gotta take when needed to. hahaha! However, it is real fun to snap and get instantly develope from your camera! Now we have like 3 polariods in the house. hahaha! Our fridge gonna filled with instax films. I'm gonna have fun when I'm going home. hehehe! Kaching! kaching!

yeah, is exactly 6 more days and i'll be on board to Malaysia!! woo hoo~ I started to clean my hse, wash my bedsheets and clothes. As the result, I suffered from bad flu again! :( Weather changes real quick! Anyway, it's been awhile since I touch my baby dslr. hahah.. And today I just remembered that I took some pictures that i have not been posted up yet.

so, yeah. i tried to made cookies or the first time and it's total failure. i trash everything after i baked few of them :p i wasted my 250g butter and raisins! :( and eggs and flour of course.


It din't turn out well. Instead of sweet, it became salty. maybe i ter put too much salt which i thought i only put very very little! Okay, i kept a bowl of dough because i thought dowan to waste lar but after so long, i decided to throw it today. hahaah! :p i think already a month. hehehe.. i will nv bake cookies again without and professionals by my side.

Ok, this is out of topic. I might be too old for tamagotchi but i've been collecting them since version 2! i amazed how new technologies works on them. you could now bring them to ur pc by typing some login and logout codes! things u bought or earn in the website, it could be transfered to your tamagotchi! i wonder how they do it man. Anyway, i bought this version 6 on amazon.com. it's cheaper than online bandai UK and this is UK edition. i wanted to get v5 which i've missed but no money lah T_T it cost almost rm80 each! i'm getting bored of playing but i couldn't stop myself from buying them! i just dont know why. probably because i've collected many of them, thats why i wanna keep buying them. Perhaps, i could set up a new display only for my tamagotchi collection in my future hse :D that would be awesome! my cucu and cicit will amazed with their mom/grandma collections. hhahaah! omg, okay, i feel like getting the v5 now :( but aiyo moneyyy!! argh.! with 17 pounds i could buy a baju :( yeah, the v5 is slightly expensive because the black version with mini tama doll attached is hard to find and only available in UK so, thats y it's slightly expensive. =(

Oh well, i packed my stuff yesterday and if u notice my luggage bag has 2 colour! that is because the whiter one was actually DUST! I terpaksa use vacum and vacum all the dust and wipe it with wet tissue. haih, i guess i start packing on wednesday. heehehe... omg i smell sushi zanmai already. hehehe.. oh well, sem b is quite tough. i don't know why it's seems really short and everything became slow. my work progress is slowing down. probably because i spend more time on research and brain storming than thinking of the execution. I don't know. i just love to do research. looking at all the researches on my both sketch book is awesome. i felt that i've done many work BUT it seems useless. hahahaa.. because the main idea is crucial lah not only research! hmmph! i don't know. i'm now trying hard to put research aside and start designing my magazine. hehehe.. but wait, can i think of what i have to do when i go back Malaysia first? lol. i'm still dreaming. oh boy! this is crazy. i'm craving for asam laksa from taipan now. *gulp*

okay, I can feel my face are damn itchy now. Did i tell u something happen on my face? hahaha.. I stop using the products i used when my face was burning and then it seems okay yesterday. So, i just used Garnier facial wash when i bath just now and my face itchy after a couple of minutes :( so i think the facial wash not suit my skin. My skin are terrible dry now and have red patches around my cheek. :( poor rYnz. My mom was worried that my face could get worst and she said people come back from overseas face nice nice. hahahaa.. Later when I come back, face like pig head :P So she asked me to get soemthing from Paul & Joe (but so far :( sob) since Anna Sui is not in London! I don';t know why. I still can't find it man. Oh well, i thought i shall jsut tahan until i go back but i think again. When i'm on board i will die. My face will get even dehydrated! sobb! I shall go get soemthing at bodyshop first since it's just few miles away from here. perhaps, on Tuesday. okay, really itchy now. gonna get some water to moist my face.

i'm greedy

I have a sudden urge to get a new camera. Compact digital camera of course. I knew I've already got my so-called DSLR but due to it's bulky-ness and mafan-ness I could not have snapping spree whenever i go! I need to remove the cover each time I need to take pictures and the shutter gives sound! DSLR always goes together with you when u you know you are going to take lots of pictures at one time but not sudden capture. Look, if i bumped into let's say Prince William on street. By the time I take out my bulky camera and remove the cap, get the setting, Prince William duno go where adi whereas compact camera just swtich on button and snap. You can happily snap ur dine-in restaurant's food but with dslr, takkan you wanna take out and snap the food? People will be will say "faster take la" because u need to use ur one eye side to focus and get the composition right. I'm shy to expose my DSLR when taking not-so-important pictures people will definately say "aiyo like that also wanna take ar" because to them they always think DSLR is a "PRO" camera. hahaha... but yeah, it's just too troublesome to carry bulky DSLR around. The function of DSLR is to capture good quality pictures. That's it! oh, and u can't syiok sendiri because the camera is rather heavier than a compaq camera! So I wish to own a compaq digital camera now. =( I will only bring out DSLR when needed. hehehe... But I guess my mom won't allow me to buy. She don't understand photography and she always think I got the best and expensive camera =.= Or maybe she will ask me to use my dad's cheapo basic digital camera which only have 1gb memory and argh, stupid function. And I just bought iPod. So now I got no excuse to get new stuff at the moment. Wait, unless I ask my aunty. muahhahaha~ Aiyo, if I'm in Malaysia for CNY this year, i will have the cash to get a camera already. =( oh well, just wait for the time to come. camera oh camera~ i'm greedy. i need a camera.

By the way, I had a china-style steam boat last night with my so-called china friends. We became like a sub friends because initially it was ah Bi's friends. I hanged with them a couple of times and I find I am able to listen to their accent - sikit sikit though. hahahaa.. yeah, it's just like the british speaks british english. They speak fast and rolled their tounge. I sometimes ignore them when they ask me question. It's obviously I din't understand them but I guess they understand. Bi is talking like a china man now. hahahaah... However, it's hard for me to speak because I don't get the pin ying right. Somehow, I can read a little chinese now because I watch Gem of Life online and while listening, I look at the sub and learn from there. Unfortunately, ah Bi thought I mixed with other china guy that's why I'm able to read. Stupid fella. I may not born to be a genius but I was born to learn stuff. ish. Anyway, back to their china-style steamboat. Their steamboat is damn different from us. See, I wanna take picture also cannot. I din't know their steamboat is diff until I went to their kitchen. This is what they MUST put into their steamboat ingredients:

The soup must have:

1. oil (probably it's chilli oil)

2. dried chilli

3. black beas

4. nuts (don't know what nut. not ground nuts)

5. some powder. don't know what powder

6. some dried flower. don't know what flower. similiar like those indian ppl use but not cengkih.

The "chap" / sauce (we dipped with chilli or some brown sauce):

1. blended sesame (looks like peanut butter)

2. mix sesame with vinegar, soy sauce and fine garlic sos (optional)

How to eat it:

As usually we dump those raw food into bowling water and then pick it up, dipped with the sauce. hahahaha.. That's it. see, if i do have a camera, i would have post it here :P

Innovation

How things keep changing from time to time and we din't have the chance to even follow up the trend, most of the time. People usually pick the latest one as their first choice. I see how things changed drastically and making me say "WOW" to it. I take portable player as example because i just own Jukebox. Honestly, I'm not a hardcore fan of music but I really do APPRECIATE music :laughing: Jay Chou's songs are the one I listen all the time. I used to be a fan of westerners like BSB, Westlife, Spice Girls (these girls make me dream to go to UK when I was young and now, I'm felt fortunate to be here. However, I starting to dislike the winter environment here :silly:)

I have not did any research of origins or what-so-ever. I'm gonna write about what I've seen so far. When I was young, I din't know what is cassette player or even music. I guess I do have one before. No, not mine but my cousin sis's cassette player and she passed it to me after that. During that time, Spice Girls are my super idol :laughing: i love to draw them buy their cassettes, magazines and I even bought their sticker book! hahha.Cassette player backthen was bulky and it's real troublesome when you got to carry cassettes around! You can record your selected songs and compile it but it's damn troublesome too! I remembered there's cassette recorder in my so-called hi-fi. What i did was insert 2 cassettes (one is empty and another is original) and record them. I got to stop recording whenever the song finish and insert another cassette to record the next song. I do keep those cassettes until today :laughing: I've threw almost 80% when i did house cleaning 2 years ago.

CD player comes after the birth of compact disc where we can use it for music and movies. I have 1-2 cd players when I was aged 11 I guess. I couldn't remember. It launched not long after cassette player around my primary school time. I guess it's even bulky than cassette player because it's rounded although it's flat. However, it can still be use today because CD is still in! The good thing about cd is you can burn the songs in your computer but it's not a storage friendly because is god damn round. I don't know why. Can't it be square instead?

Perhaps after 1-2 years, mp3 had launched. Back then mp3 player is a trend because it's small and handy! You can load lots of songs inside. The cons? You can't watch mv. That's it. My first mp3 was iPod shuffle. The one looked like the shape of rectangular chewing gum. I remember the ads today. The iPod placed in a group of minty chewing gums to show the similarity.

Archos was the first mp4 player according to wiki. I got my first mp4 is Archos. I guess is this model. It's awsome! Got camera sumore :silly: It came with a leather pouch where u can button in and eventually it because a Archos stand! How clever but it was quite heavy. Probably as heavy as 3310. Archos is not famous in Malaysia. My dad got it in Singapore and it's quite pricy though. My second mp4 is Phillip which I used my dad's card points to redeem it :laughing: Jukebox iPod nano is my current ones. This time it can turn your subtitle, shake it, and even touch it. The cons? most mp4 don't have bluetooth and online service. I don't know it any mp4 can online or not besides iPhone (which is not really mp4)! it would be good if we could blog! hahaah

I think maybe the future portable player is only one touch earpiece. Where you can plug it into your ear and listen to music or a glasses that can watch MV. Of course, it can be view in further view so that it won't spoild your eyes! hahaha.. Maybe mp3 can be a ring with a bluetooth earphone. Probably it can be transformed into something fashionable accessories. Like a necklace, belt,watch or even an earring! I was wondering what's the new portable players the next batch. Probably online :laughing:

The arrival of Jukebox

My mom celebrated her birthday with her nieces and grandniece I just sat infront of my lappie, and watch them enjoy those yummy cakes =( I wish I was there. CAKEEe~~~ On that day itself, my sis and I are telling her about iPod nano and my dear sis said I wanna get an iPod. Surprisingly, she said YES to iPod nano without second thought! Initially, I thought of buying shuffle because it's really cheap and I can use my card. Then after discussion with Clair, I feel like buying iPod nano but I can't use my card! I will broke soon if I do so. Then I asked my sis which colour should I get and what title to engrave. I thought I will secretly use my dad's supplimentary card and purchase it. hehhee.. However, I am glad that mummy said yes! Thanks mummy! It takes me hours to decide which iPod, titles and colours! Ivy, Clair and I have been thinking titles for hours.
And here, I just got my jukebox! hehhee.. I slept at 4am last night because I can't sleep. and I woke up at 10am and waited in the kitchen because I'm afraid I couldn't hear the ding dong bell like a couple of days ago. I got to pick up my kaleidoscope in the post office and their pick-up post office close at 1pm!! How terrible! I thought the Royal Mail sends the item to me and when I checked thru my shipping statement, they actually send it thru UPS service. So, I waited until 11.30am and I decided to go into my room because it's freaking cold downstairs. I chat with Amanda and my sis about the iPod. Then at 12pm, I heard ding dong. Not really "ding dong" sound but more like a sharp fart sound. I don't know how to describe. uhh! Then I paused. I'm not so sure is it a ding dong bell or sound from my hsemate (he always blast his music world =.=). I heard another ring again so I quickly walk down and check it out. I opened the door and the guy was walking off however, he turned back a couple of seconds. I was really happy! My jukebox came into small little box. hehehe... I told Christine and Amanda about the arrival. Christine was so excited - which I don't know why. Probably she heard that I was going to give it to her when I go back :P Here's my pinku jukebox! I came up with the name 'jukebox' and Clair came out with 'shake' and Ivy came out with 'jukebox, i shake' and ended up I combined it and use "Jukebox, iShake"! it's another iPod sisters :D Yeap, I added the dates to mark it as the date of purchase. Maybe it's gonna be my iPod collections soon. hehehe... Besides, the date of purchase is my mom's birthday. So, it's kinda like dedicated to her, indirectly. hahaha. My initial titles are "I was born on Jan 7, 2009" to "I was lucky to born on 7th Jan 2009" to "Established since Jan 7,2009" to now, "Jukebox, iShake - Jan 7, 2009" =)

Jukebox = it's like a mini jukebox to me.

iShake = it can shake. so it's a shakable jukebox!

Oh well, time to get Jukebox a clothes. hehe

Shopping Spreee~

I went shopping spreee in London today. Really having fun but my feet hurts alot :( London is really packed from today onwards because Christmas coming and it's holiday. Really pack. Hate it so much but I went early, so I don't have to "pik" with people. hahaha..

Oh yea, bi bought me new phone :D Happy~ It was something like a side-kick phone from LG and it's pink colour! I am not used to it hope it will goes well as soon as possible. I heard the pink version is only available from few network like Orange and O2. So, it's kinda limited places you can buy in UK.






Bad thing about this phone:
1) No 3G

2) Shutter Tone cannot be switch off!!! Cannot curi curi take pic man. hate it.

3) It's a korean brand :P (somehow, their function had improved but cannot compare to NOKIA or SE :P My previous Korean mobile (VK) phone was good actually but they get spoild easily. I'm not so sure this will be the next XD)

4) Memory Card - I don't know about this. I slot in my previous memory card, they couldn't read my other folders except the one I renamed it to "Images". (I've found out the solution, just rename the other folder same as the default.)

5) Camera - No auto focus! I damn not used to it. Quality wise u can set from low to super fine quality.

6) I only can use Orange sim card. Maybe I should unlock it before I bring back to Malaysia.

Good thing about this phone:
1) STYLO! (which attract me to get it. I saw one of my friend had it so immediately I went to search for it. Luckily got stock man because I heard most places don't sell it anymore. Then I told myself, if I found it then it would be mine. I believe in fate. :D)

2) Internet - I've only login to facebook because it's free from my network. So far, friendly user :D

3) Vibrate - U can choose from Soft to Strong vibrate.

4) Charge - u can charge ur phone using USB!

5) Dial touch screen ( I can't thing of other good thing, so yeah :P)


I'm gonna broke soon! Oh well :( I guess I will constantly go to London this month. Hope I don't run out of money >.<
